CEE Social Media Specialist – Frankfurt, Germany (closed)

Purpose:

Our client is an innovative technology business currently undergoing massive global expansion. Current operations span North America, Europe and Asia, and its revolutionary products have reached customers in over 100 countries in a broad range of applications. The company is now looking to expand their online and social media team and looking for a social media specialist with extensive knowledge about CEE market.

Responsibilities:

Campaign Management:

  • Work with various stakeholders in delivering campaigns that achieve or overachieve KPIs
  • Ensure smooth delivery (launch, during, post) of campaign
  • Provide advisory role of campaigns to ensure maximum benefit to the brand

Social Media Strategy/Community Management

  • Able to work with marketing team and Brand Experience Manager to craft and refine existing and future Social Media presence
  • Seek out influencers across all social media. This includes celebrities and web celebrities
  • Able to help strengthen the community on all social networks

Content Creation

  • Able to collate and filter content that is suitable for each social network
  • Able to craft engaging and interesting posts to sell content
  • A hunger for finding content constantly with a keen eye for more than the usual
  • Share content on the content calendar with our subsidiary offices across the world
  • Ability to understand the difference between engagement, frequency of post and NOISE
  • Able to identify key time periods to post

Crisis Management

  • Able to actively seek out potential and existing social media crisis and handle in a professional manner
  • Able to report on any crisis to the broader Marketing team

Customer Service

  • Able to respond to all customer service issues
  • Escalate to the Brand Experience Manager cases that cannot be handled

Social Selling

  • Ensure a balance is achieved with selling on promotion of our products on social media, to avoid SPAM
  • Ensure relevant ad buy for a higher engagement of the audience

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of sales and marketing experience with experience in tech and/or FMCG
  • Bachelor or master in business or marketing
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties.

  • Experience across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin, Pinterest
  • Global and Regional experience in social media campaigns
  • Ability to run campaigns to drive not just fan growth but
  • Understanding of presence on Social Media account and how to move forward with this
  • Ability to read analytics of each social network and understand fanbase trends to tailor content to be the most impactful
  • Work with various departments (Creative/Design/E-Commerce/PR/Sales) in promoting the brand but within brand limits
  • Able to report on competitor activity
  • Interest in the tech industry and ability to source information about the industry
  • Inquisitive, able to see the issue laterally and provide a solution
  • Team member, able to work with others in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  • Highly organized
  • Knowledge and understanding of Chinese culture preferrable
  • Native or fluent English or German necessary, additional languages a plus (Czech, Polish, Russian preferred)
